Good morning shredders and happy Friday! Today's shredvotion is about Tony Hawk's 900. I know this seems like a strange topic for a shredvotion but bare with me here. When Tony Hawk set out to do the 900 no one had ever done one before. It was just the dream of a shredder wondering if it was possible. Attempt after attempt Tony came up unsuccessful. Whether it was the roar of the fans or years worth of attempting he landed it in front of a huge xgames crowd in 1999. The 900 was the most illusive trick in skateboarding. Danny Way tried it. Tas Pappas tried it. But no one was successful. He had 10 failed attempts and the clock had ran out on the best trick competition but Tony didn't care. Deep inside he knew he was going to land that 900. He rode away on the 11th try. We as shredders can learn a lot from Tony Hawk's 900. Take today and find your "undoable" trick. Set your sights on a goal that seems just out of reach. Keep making attempts to get closer and closer. Eventually someday you will get it. When we learn to fight the insurmountable battles it trickles into our every day life. We come to realize that the only thing stopping us from achieving our goals is ourselves. If you put enough focus and dedication to your shred there's nothing that can stop you. It's a wonderful day to be alive family. I hope that the 900 can inspire you to go out and climb the big mountains today. Enjoy the thrill of the unknown and never forget

Good morning shredders and happy Thursday! Today's shredvotion is about High Cascade snowboard and summer camp. High cascade is a snowboard camp at Mt hood Oregon. They offer different Summer and Winter camps all related to snowboarding and snowboard filming. Each year they have a set of camp sessions each hosted by different pros and pro teams. Giving kids a chance to be around other snowboarders and learn from the best in the world. High cascade is a prime example of a way you can use your shred to help the shred community. Keeping the kids excited breeds new blood into the sport and keeps the spirit alive. We as shredders can learn a lot from high cascade. Sharing the shred is sometimes just as important as the shred itself. The camp has helped to shape many sponsored snowboarders and competitors. Take some time today to help share your shred with somebody else. Who knows maybe you will spark the creative fire in the next greatest shredder of our time. Enjoy the beautiful day and never forget

Good morning shredders and happy Wednesday! Today's shredvotion is about Andrew Reynolds. Andrew Reynolds is a professional skateboarder sponsored by Baker Skateboards, Spitfire Wheels, Altamont, Brigada, Independent, Shake Junt, Emerica, Stance, and Nixon. He is also the founder and owner of Baker Skateboards. Reynolds is one of the most influential skateboarders of all time. He has some of the best style in the game and has filmed some of the greatest video parts of all time. These video parts don't come easy though. Reynolds is obsessed with getting the perfect clip. If his hand touches the ground or if he doesn't like how he landed he will film it again and again. Reynolds ocd obsession is self described as the madness. His own version of OCD where he has tons of rituals and things he must do surrounding his skating and filming. All this obsession is only because he wants to get specific tricks filmed in a specific way. He will pull up to a spot 20 times before trying a trick or obsessively eating healthy and stretching for the week prior to trying something difficult. We as shredders can learn a lot from Reynolds. Not only has he continued to be one of the top pros after skating professionally for 25 years but he also runs his only company. The most crucial thing we can learn from Reynolds is that if you want something you can put in the work to go get it. A shredder doesn't leave out any details in the pursuit of quality. Not only does he shred his tricks but he shreds the way that they are perceived on film. Which allows the observer a momentary glimpse into how Andrew perceives his own shred. This allows for his shred to grow and inspire others around him. Its a wonderful day to be alive family. You have the power and ability to share the love you have for your shred with the world around you. Help them to see it in the magical light that you do and never forget

Good morning shredders and Happy Monday! Today's shredvotion is about Chris Joslin. Chris is a professional skateboarder sponsored by Plan B, Etnies, Grizzly, Venture, Arnette, and Bones. He is one of the most intense skaters to watch. This guy really shows what it means to shred. In the last year he has turned pro, put out at least 5 videos parts, 360 flipped the Davis gap, made it to the finals of Tampa Pro his first year attending, won best trick at Tampa Pro with a MASSIVE backside flip, and puts out some of the most awesome instagram footage you will ever see. Check him out at @chrisjoslin_ This kid will blow your mind. I picked him today because I wanted your monday morning shredvotion to be the simplest form of motivation. Although Chris had a rough childhood I'm not even going to get into that because Chris's skating speaks for itself. Every time he pulls up to a spot he does the hardest most technical trick he can. He is known for getting several clips in one filming session. His gaps, trips down stairs, and flip tricks are rivaled by only a few. His slams are rivaled by even fewer. This guy really goes for it. So as you go out into the world this Monday morning, remember to be like Joslin. Go big every time, trust your abilities, and don't be afraid to fall a few times. The more you fall the more opportunities you have to learn how to get back up. You have the POWER and ability to push your shred to new heights and use it to empower yourself and the world around you. Enjoy the start to the week and never forget
