Good morning shredders and Happy Monday! Today's shredvotion is about Skateistan. Skateistan is a private organization dedicated to providing skateboarding opportunities for underprivileged youth in Afghanistan, Cambodia, and South Africa. Skateistan is similar to a daily camp. They provide free boards and facilities for children of different backgrounds and economic classes. It is geared towards building trust and empowerment through skating. Their facilities are free to children ages 5-18 and 40 percent are girls. The people at Skateistan have found a way to use shred as a way to promote self reliance, diversity, and equality. In a country where women are not always treated equally, where war and poverty have ripped the landscape apart, they provide an atmosphere where children can learn to progress and teach themselves that if they practice something they can get better at it. That no matter where you're from or how you look everyone can shred. As shredders we can learn a lot from this organization. Our shred can be a powerful tool to help others learn about themselves and the world around them. The more we can use our skills in diverse ways the more we can help grow the shred and bring it to anyone and everyone. Have a wonderful day family. You have the power and ability to share your shred with everyone around you. Enjoy the joy it brings you and never forget

Have Peace, Be Love, and Shred Everything
