Shredvotion 3-15-16

Good morning shredders and happy Tuesday! Today's shredvotion is about Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali may be the most famous athlete of all time. If not the greatest athlete most definitely the most famous boxer. He was the Heavyweight champion of the world in 1964, 1974, 1978. His record was 56-5. Ali lost a large portion of his prime years after being stripped of his boxing license because he refused to be drafted in Vietnam. Ali is most notably known for his ability to get in people's head. Some people called it trash talk and other people called it psychological warfare. Ali learned that his shred had more facets than the average boxer was willing to learn. He found a way to get an advantage over other boxers by getting into their brain. He was an incredibly interesting man that stayed true to his values. What I would like for you to get from his story is that no matter what the world around you says you have to stay true to what you believe. Ali gave up the most important years of his shred in order to stand behind what he believed in. Now I hope that none of you have to give up your shred for that, and I'm most certainly sure that in this day and age that you wont. But take his attitude as an opportunity to learn about making the hard choices. Having an opinion that isn't always favored by others is never easy. Walking the unbeaten path can be difficult. But at the end of the day you can face yourself knowing you did what is right and not just what other people want you to do. Ali was more of a shredder in his soul than he ever was in the ring. That's really saying something. So take today as an opportunity to shred from within. Be a helpful person with thoughtful action. It's a wonderful day to be alive family. You have the power and ability to make the hard choices. Enjoy the feeling it brings you and never forget
