Shredvotion 3-18-16

Good morning shredders and Happy Friday! Today's shredvotion is about Albert Einstein. Albert Einstein is probably the most famous physicist of all time. Early in his life Albert didn't always show as much promise though. He did not speak until he was 4 and did not learn to read until he was 7. Many of his teachers and family believed he had a learning disability. How wrong they were. Albert went on to win the noble prize, publish 300 scientific papers, 150 non scientific papers, and discovered one of the two pillars of modern physics (e=mc^2). Einstein was a theoretical physicist who was obsessed with philosophy. I could go on and on about his life and accomplishments. Trust me they are many and detailed. But what I'd really like to talk about is the lesson we can learn from his life about what potential or lack there-of some saw in him and his will to go forward. In your life as a shredder a lot of people will get in your way. They will say you can't do what you're trying to do or they will say that some people just have more talent that you. Truth is no one but you knows whats deep inside. You can choose to listen to them or you can choose to stay focused in your shred and help to invent, discover, and develop new ideas and new ways of seeing the world around you. If you choose to continue on with a peaceful heart, loving action, and attitude to shred everything around you no one is going to stop you. Who knows maybe you will discover the 3rd pillar of physics, or find a new way to throw a disc 600 feet, or how to land a trick on your board that no one has even thought of. All of these are paths that are discovered by cutting through the thick woods of doubt and inaction. The more you can stay focused on your goal the more likely you are to achieve. I hope Albert Einsteins story can help motivate you today to block out the doubt and find a path that you have discovered on your own. Enjoy the thrill of adventure and never forget
